Instant rice [2 cups for 8x8 casserole dish]
frozen corn, thawed [about 1 cup]
6 ounce tomato sauce
1/2 can water
chopped onion [about 1/4 medium]
chopped green pepper [about 1/8 medium]
1 pound raw ground beef
6 ounce tomato sauce
1/4 can water
4 slices raw bacon
spray [8x8] pan with Pam and cover bottom of casserole dish with instant rice about 1/2 inch deep
cover that layer with frozen corn just enough to cover.
add 1 can (6 oz) of tomato sauce plus 1/2 can of water
cover that layer with mixed chopped onion and chopped green pepper.
layer with @ 1 pound RAW ground meat covering entire surface.
add another can (6 oz) of tomato sauce plus 1/4 can of water.
4 slices of RAW bacon cut in half and placed on top of sauce.
Cover casserole with lid (or foil) and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
Remove lid and bake for 30 minutes more or until bacon crisps.
