Cranberry Delight Spread
This is the other item I am taking for dinner group tonight. It is from a magazine ad for Keebler Town House Crackers.
1 Package (8 ounces) cream cheese
2 tablespoons concentrated orange juice
1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon sugar
1 zest of an orange
1/4 cup finely chopped pecans, optional
1/4 cup finely chopped dry cranberries
Town House Crackers
In an electric mixer bowl combine the cream cheese, juice, cinnamon, and sugar on medium speed until smooth.
Fold in orange zest, pecans, and cranberries.
Garnish with a slice of cranberry or zest of orange.
Serve with Town House Crackers.
Makes 1.5 cups of spread
I garnished with the extra chopped cranberries and some orange zest plus a few left over pecans. Will serve with Ritz Crackers and Wheat Thins. I was able to use my new stick blender to chop the cranberries!!! Review to follow after dinner. The sample I tasted last night was very good. I copied the recipe as written....I would have said "zest of one orange"!!!
