I love the flavors in this dressing, not only for salad, but over steak and, shamefully, for a dip for Fritos.
2 ounces blue cheese
1 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup sour cream
2 Tablespoons apple cider vinegar
1 Tablespoon sugar
1/2 clove garlic, minced
Salt to taste
Freshly ground pepper, to taste
Crumble blue cheese into a bowl.
Add and blend remaining ingredients.
Beat until mixture is fluffy.
Store in covered container in refrigerator.
Makes about 1 1/2 cups dressing
