1/2 cup cream cheese
1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
5 drops red food coloring
3 1/2 cups powdered sugar
red & white sprinkles
Put cream cheese, pepermint extract and food coloring in mixing bowl mix on low speed.
Add 3 cups of the powdered sugar to cream cheese mixture: mix at low speed untill blended (dough will be stiff like pie crust dough).
Line a flat surface with wax paper and dust with remaning powdered sugar.
Set the cream cheese dough in the middle kneading it to incorporate as much powdered sugar as possible, until dough is very stiff.
Roll and pat with hands until 1/2" thick.
Cut out with heart shaped cookie cutters and place them on a serving plate.
Decorate with the sprinkles.
Chill in fridge uncovered for about 12 hours.
