14 Tablespoons milk (1 cup less 2 Tablespoons)
3 Tablespoons butter, softened
2 Tablespoons sugar
2 medium bananas, (as ripe as you want)
3 1/2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup nuts, chopped
1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
2 teaspoons active dry yeast
Put the ingredients in your bread machine in recommended order.
I put 1 ripe banana and another that wasn't overripe into the mix (without mashing) and I put the raisins and nuts (pecan halves) into the mix before the flour.
My machine reduced the raisins to flecks and the nuts to 'finely chopped' without me doing anything.
My machine is one where you choose regular or large for the loaf but not much else.
I baked it on 'white - regular' and it came out really nice.
