Each cup of uncooked brown rice will yield approximately 3 cups of cooked rice.
Baked Brown Rice with its chewy texture and faint nutty taste is a perfect base or accompaniment for many of our soups, curries, and stir fries.
Leftover rice will keep in the refrigerator for several days.
Or, divide cooked rice into meal-sized portions and freeze in Ziploc-type bags for use as needed.
