2 large onions, minced very fine
about 12 ounces ketchup
about 12 ounces vinegar
1 cup dark brown sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon curry powder
1 teaspoon celery seed
1 teaspoon crushed red peppers
Cover onions with water and simmer 5 minutes.
Add ketchup, vinegar, and seasonings.
Bring to a boil and remove from heat.
