Crispy Parmesan Chips
These light-as-air chips are great on their own or used as dippers
Taken from Diabetic Living, Everyday Cooking
30 wonton wrappers
Nonstick cooking spray
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon dried basil, crushed
1/4 cup grated Parmesan or Romano cheese
Preheat oven to 350º F.
Using a sharp knife, cut the wonton wrappers diagonally in half to form 60 triangles.
Coat a baking sheet with cooking spray.
Arrange a third of the triangles in a single layer on baking sheet.
Stir together oil, garlic, and basil.
Lightly brush wonton triangles with some of the oil mixture, sprinkle with cheese.
Bake about 8 minutes or until golden.
Repeat with remaining wonton triangles, oil mixture, and cheese.
Makes 60 chips

We had these for dinner group tonight and we all really liked them. We didn't use a dip. The lady who made them said they were easy and she also said it didn't take 8 minutes to cook them so you will want to check them to see how they do in your oven
