Recipe is from my Mom's recipe box.
1 cup flour
1/3 cup softened butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup chopped nuts
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup sugar
1 large egg
2 Tablespoons milk
2 Tablespoons lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
In large bowl, combine flour, butter and brown sugar.
Blend with mixer on low for blend for 2-3 minutes until particles are fine.
Stir in nuts.
Reserve 1 cup of this topping.
Pat remainder in 8 inch square ungreased pan.
Bake at 350º F for 8 - 10 minutes until lightly browned.
Cool while preparing filling.
Prepare filling by mixing rest of ingredients until well blended and smooth.
Spread on the cooled crust.
Sprinkle with reserved topping.
Bake at 350º F for 23 to 30 minutes.
