Connie's Caribbean Bean Sauce
You can adjust the seasonings as you need.
1 Tablespoon Goya Recaito
1 Tablespoon Goya Sofrito
1 packet of Goya Sazon
2 teaspoon Adobo
2 small cans of tomato sauce
1 sauce can filled with water or broth
1 can red kidney beans (low sodium), drained and rinsed
1 good size potato, peeled and diced
In a sauce pan sauté in a drizzle of oil the Recaito, Sofrito, Sazon and Adobo for a few moments just to bring out the spices.
Add the beans and potato.
Add the tomato sauce with a can of water (or broth if you like).
Bring to a boil.
Reduce to a simmer and allow to cook down for about 15-25 minutes.
Cook until the potatoes are soft.

We had a similar sauce in Cuban restaurants but they put slices of onions and peppers in their version.
