Hot Dog Chili
To me, this is true Hot Dog Chili. I recently ran across this recipe calling it South Carolina Hot Dog Chili, but I've been making it using the same recipe (just larger portions) for at least 40 years.
1 pound ground beef
1 Tablespoon chili powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 cup worcestershire sauce
about 1 cup water
about 1 cup ketchup
Put in a pot and cook till it's pink constantly mashing so as not to have lumps.
Add chili powder, garlic powder worcestershire, water and ketchup.
Cook on simmer until it has boiled down to the desired thickness.
When making hot dogs, add minced fresh Vidalia or Texas sweet onions on top.

For chili powder I have always preferred McCormick's.
