1 (15 1/4-ounce) can crushed pineapple, well drained, reserve liquid
1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1 (3 1/2-ounce) package instant banana pudding mix
1 cup roughly chopped marsaschino cherries, divided
2 cups whipping cream, whipped
1 (15 1/4-ounce) package chocolate wafers, divided
4 medium bananas, sliced, divided
Add enough water to the reserved pineapple liquid to make 1 1/2 cups; combine with sweetened condensed milk.
Add instant pudding mix, combine well.
Add crushed pineapple and half the chopped cherries, fold in the whipped cream.
Spoon 1 1/2 cups pudding mixture into an 8 x 8 inch dish.
Top with 1/2 each of the chocolate wafers, sliced bananas and banana pudding.
Repeat layering twice, ending with pudding mixture.
Chill thoroughly; scatter remaining 1/2 cup chopped cherries across top.
