Dilly Green Beans
3 pounds green beans( about 3 quarts)
6 cups vinegar
2 cups water
1 cup salt
6 bunches of dill
6 small cloves of garlic
6 very small, hot red peppers
Wash beans after removing stem end.
In each steriliized jar, place a piece of dill, pod of pepper, and cloves of garlic.
Pack beans in jars to within 1 inch of top.
Heat the vinegar,water, and salt to boiling, and pour over the beans.
Seal and process 5 minutes in boiling water.
Remove, cool and store.
