Chicken & Rice Casserole

4 cups cooked rice
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup flour
2 cups milk
1 teaspoon season salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 teaspoons chicken bouillon granules
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
4-5 cups cooked boneless chicken
12 ounces Velveeta
2 cups sour cream
1/4 cup melted butter
1 sleeve Ritz crackers, crushed
Put cooked rice into a 9x13 greased pan.
Mix next 7 ingredients and cook till thickened.
Pour over the rice.
Place cooked chicken on top.
Melt Velveeta a little and blend in the sour cream.
Pour over chicken.
Top with butter and Ritz crackers.
Bake at 325º F to 350º F till heated through, about 45 minutes.
I've been making this ever since HDMac posted it. Very good! Sometimes I use yogurt instead of sour cream, and use a salt-free seasoning blend instead of the seasoned salt.
