DS David and DD Jennifer combined to make dinner one afternoon and came up with a real winner. David has been playing with 93/7 beef and Jennifer with the wontons and scallions. Their combo made a surprisingly good treat. Jennifer now wants to do it again but to include fries as well.
1 pound ground beef (93/7 is NICE)
1 Tablespoon dried onions
1 Tablespoon dried garlic slices
18 regular wonton wrappers
4 ounces cheddar cheese slices
2 regular scallions, sliced
salt and pepper, to taste
Lightly brown the ground beef with the dried onions and garlic added in.
When cooked, check for salt and pepper and season as needed.
Cool meat mixture.
Preheat oven to 350º F.
Lightly spray a muffin tin with non-stick spray.
Place one wonton wrapper in each muffin cup.
Place some of the cheese in the bottom of the lined cup and cover with the beef mixture.
Sprinkle with sliced scallions and cover with more cheese.
Place in oven and bake for 5-10 minutes until edges of the wonton are getting dark brown.
Allow 3 or 4 per serving.
