A German inspired savory beef recipe.
1 1/2 pound beef chuck, cut in 2" cubes
2 Tablespoon flour
1/2 teaspoon celery salt
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 can (16 ounce) diced tomatoes, with juice
2 cups thinly sliced carrots
1 large potato, cut into chunks
1/4 cup sherry
1/4 cup dark molasses
1 cup water
Place beef in slow cooker.
Sprinkle salt, garlic powder, ginger, pepper over top of beef.
Put remaining ingredients over top of beef.
Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
