1 pound ground beef
1 can (28 ounce size) tomato puree
1 can (10 ounce size) French onion soup
1 package (9 ounce size) frozen green beans
1 package (9 ounce size) fresh cheese tortellini
1 teaspoon dried basil leaves
3 1/2 cups water
1 medium zucchini
In a 5 quart pot, brown ground beef, stirring frequently until all juices evaporate and beef is well browned.
Spoon off excess fat.
Add tomato puree, undiluted.
Add onion soup, green beans, tortellini, basil and water.
Bring to boil over high heat, then reduce to medium.
Cover and cook another 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add zucchini, and cook uncovered for another 10 minutes until zucchini and tortellini are tender.
