Thanks to the heart-healthy garlic and olive oil and the cayenne pepper in this recipe, it is a great, healthy recipe that works well as an appetizer or a main dish. While many shrimp stir-fry recipes include butter, this recipe uses only olive oil for maximum health benefits. You don't lose any flavor by skipping the butter. It tastes better without it.
Serve alone or on a bed of lettuce, rice, or pasta. You can also add broccoli or other vegetables during cooking for a great shrimp veggie stir-fry
2 Tablespoons olive oil
24 raw shrimp
2 cloves garlic, minced
a sprinkle of black pepper
cayenne pepper to taste
1 Tablespoon fresh parsley
Heat up the olive oil in a skillet or wok.
Add the shrimp, garlic, black pepper, and cayenne.
Stir regularly over low heat until shrimp turn pink on both sides, about 3-4 minutes.
By keeping the heat low, it will ensure the garlic doesn't brown.
When the shrimp are just about done, add the parsley and mix well.
