3 large apples, peeled, cored and sliced
1/2 lemon juiced
1 Tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 Tablespoon rum
1/4 cup flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 large eggs
2 Tablespoons sour cream
1/3 cup milk
Prepare the apples and sprinkle with the lemon juice, brown sugar, cinnamon and rum; set aside.
Put the flour, salt, eggs, sour cream and milk in your food processor or blender and whirl for a minute.
Toss a pat of butter into a medium sized skillet and heat.
Pour about 1/4 cup of the batter into the skillet and let it cook for two minutes.
Put the apples on top, cover with the rest of the batter and place in a preheated 375°F oven for 40 minutes.
