2 cups water
3 teaspoons Sysco imperial beef base
5 teaspoons Fiesta chili powder
4 shots Black Velvet whiskey
1 teaspoon cayenne
1/3 cup olive oil
Simmer all ingredients together and let cool.
Inject this mixture into roasts.
Coat roasts in olive oil then sprinkle Hot chili powder and Johnny's seasoning salt all over.
Wrap and refrigerate for 24 hours.
Brush with same as injection mixture, but add a little more oil to it.
Smoke meat with apple and mesquite wood.
