1 cup catsup
1 large tomato, peeled, seeded, and chopped (3/4 cup)
1 small green pepper, chopped (1/2 cup)
2 Tablespoons chopped onion
2 Tablespoons brown sugar
1 to 2 Tablespoons steak sauce
1 to 2 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1/8 teaspoon ground ginger
1/8 teaspoon pepper
In a small saucepan stir together catsup, tomato, green pepper, onion, brown sugar, steak sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, nutmeg, cinnamon, cloves, ginger and pepper.
Bring to boiling; reduce heat.
Cover and simmer about 5 minutes or until green pepper is crisp-tender.
Serve warm or at room temperature.
Makes about 2 1/2cups.
