1 pound ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1 (40-ounce) can tomatoes
2 cups water
1 (15-ounce) can kidney beans, optional
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 Tablespoon chili powder
1/2 cup chopped celery
2 cups thinly sliced cabbage
Sauté beef in skillet.
Drain.
Combine all ingredients except cabbage in slow cooker.
Cover.
Cook on Low 3 hours.
Add cabbage.
Cook on High 30-60 minutes longer.
Option – add dill
