oz's Savory White Bread for ABM
This makes a sturdy loaf that was designed for SAVORY sandwiches. My kids fight over the crusts and end pieces because they are so tasty.
1 1/3 cup water, at 110ºF
1 large egg, beaten
3 Tablespoons sugar
4 teaspoons active dry yeast
1/3 cup oil
4 cups flour
3 Tablespoons Knorr Boullion (Chicken, Tomato or Beef)(Caldo de Pollo, Tomate or Res)
Mix water, egg and sugar in bread pan.
Add yeast and allow to sit 10 to 15 minutes.
Add oil, flour and powdered bouillon.
Set on Large White or Basic.

I hate eating a savory sandwich and having the bread be sweet. I don't want a Roast Beef Sandwich that tastes like it has honey on it. This is what I came up with. The Knorr Boullion is powdered and can be subbed by any powdered boullion. The bread in the photo was made with Caldo de Tomate.
