2 pounds cranberries
2 pears (sliced and diced)
3 Granny Smith apples (peeled, sliced and diced)
2 cups brown sugar
2 Tablespoons grated orange rind
1 cup orange juice
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
Put everything into a pot, mix well, and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to simmer, cover, and cook for one hour, stirring occasionally.
Remove from heat, cool slightly, and serve.
If serving chilled, cover and place in refrigerator on a heatproof surface (or outside, depending on where you live!).
