FYI: Storing Mushrooms

I haven't done this with portabella mushrooms, but often do it with white button mushrooms.
Just blanch the mushrooms in boiling water with some vinegar added to it to keep them white.
Freeze the mushrooms individually on a cookie sheet then store in a ziptop bag in the freezer.
(I learned that tip in my Chinese cooking class about 35 years ago!)
