Makes 4 burgers
1 pound (454 g) 99% nonfat ground turkey
4 large egg whites
1 cup (40 g) crumbled shredded wheat or whole wheat bread crumbs
1/2 cup finely diced celery
1/2 cup finely diced onion
1 Tablespoon horseradish mustard (Jack Daniels brand - the SECRET ingredient!)
1 Tablespoon soy sauce
1 Tablespoon garlic powder
1 Tablespoon parsley flakes
Dash of pepper
Dash of sea salt (optional)
Use cold ingredients.
Combine all ingredients but do not over mix.
Form into patties and refrigerate until ready to cook.
Makes 4 to 6 patties depending on your style of burger.
