1 (1-pound) box rigatoni noodles
1 pound ground beef
2 (26-ounce) jars spaghetti sauce
1 1/2 teaspoons dried Italian seasoning
16 ounces cottage cheese
4 cups mozzarella cheese (divided use)
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 large eggs
Preheat oven to 350ºF.
Cook and drain noodles according to package directions.
Meanwhile, in a saucepan over medium heat, brown beef and add pasta sauce and seasoning.
Cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
In a separate bowl, combine cottage cheese with 1 cup mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese and eggs.
Grease a 13x9 baking dish.
Spread 1 cup of the pasta sauce mixture over the bottom of the pan.
Top with half of the noodles, half of the cheese mixture and half of the remaining pasta sauce mixture.
Sprinkle the remaining 3 cups of mozzarella cheese over the top.
Bake, uncovered, 45 minutes, or until bubbly.
