I am not sure if I have posted this here before or not, if I have excuse me for repeating myself. However, this recipe is worth repeating!! It is sooooooo good - tender pork, the goodness of bacon and the spices all combine to make a wonderful dish!
1 Tablespoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon Lawry's Seasoned Salt
1 teaspoon dried crumbled leaf basil
1/2 teaspoon dried crumbled leaf oregano
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 pork tenderloin, cleaned and trimmed
4 to 6 slices bacon
olive oil
Combine garlic powder, seasoned salt, basil, oregano, and black pepper; place tenderloin on a large piece of wax paper and rub seasoning all over the pork tenderloin.
Wrap pork with bacon and secure with toothpicks.
Take your olive oil and coat well.
Place in a 9x13-inch pan and bake uncovered in a 375ºF to 400ºF oven for 45 to 60 minutes, or until pork reaches about 155°F.
Make sure the bacon is really done.
Remove tenderloin and wrap in foil.
Let stand for 10 minutes before slicing.
This pork tenderloin recipe serves 2 to 4.
