I picked up this recipe from a friend named Reya (Queenie) in Spain. Her father was the head of the Gilby Gin Distillers (England) and her mother was the head of one of the larges wine makers in Spain (Gonzales - Byass).
She baked these cookies once a month for her father who had been paralyzed in an auto accident when she was 5 years old and she'd presented his with these cookies every month for the next 18 years (at the time). Dulcis Inferno
1 large egg
1/4 cup soft butter
1/2 cup powdered sugar
4 teaspoons espresso coffee (liquid)
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
Mix the egg with the butter, sugar and the coffee.
Add the flour and work until the dough is creamy.
Put the dough into a pastry bag with a star nozzle and form the biscuits as you prefer or you can drop the dough onto the baking sheet covered with baking paper with a spoon.
Bake in the preheated oven set to 350║F for 12 minutes or until lightly browned.
