52 graham crackers
1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup milk
1 large egg, slightly beaten
1 cup graham cracker crumbs
1 cup coconut
1 cup chopped walnuts
2 cups powdered sugar
1/2 stick butter or margarine
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
enough milk to make the frosting of spreading consistency
Place 26 graham crackers in the bottom of a large cookie sheet.
Melt 1 cup butter and add 1 cup sugar, 1/2 cup milk and 1 slightly beaten egg.
Stir continually until it boils for 3 minutes and is slightly thickened.
Add 1 cup graham cracker crumbs, 1 cup coconut and 1 cup chopped walnuts.
Mix well and pour over graham crackers on the cookie sheet.
Then add another layer of graham crackers on top of the filling.
Frost using Frosting recipe.
Chill bars before cutting into squares.
Combine the powdered sugar, butter (or margarine), vanilla and just enough milk to make a smooth, spreadable frosting.
