2 cups egg noodles
1 pound ground beef
1 can Campbells condensed cheddar cheese soup
1 can or jar pizza sauce
1 (16-ounce) carton low fat cottage cheese
canned mushrooms, if desired
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Boil the egg noodles in boiling water and drain.
Don't over cook as they will cook when baking the casserole.
Brown the ground beef and drain any grease.
Mix cooked egg noodles, browned ground beef, cheddar cheese soup, pizza sauce, cottage cheese and mushrooms if desired.
I just mix it all in a 9 x 13 cake pan that I will be baking this casserole in.
Bake at 350°F for about 45 minutes or until it bubbles around all the edges and is heated through.
Top with the shredded cheese and return to oven to melt the cheese.
About another 15 minutes.
Let set a few minutes before cutting into to serve.
Leftovers are good reheated in the microwave.
