For all you members, (of Nancy's Kitchen), I just have to share the following recipe with you. I had not thought about posting this until I read Sandy in Iowa's request for a slushy drink that she had seen in the Newsletter back in the summer.
My son took the family to a Brazilian Steak House over the holidays and a lot of our party got a Brazilian Limeade for their drink. It was so different and to "die for." So, I went in search of a recipe for it and found one. Here it is. I have tried the recipe and it is delicious! I also plan to try it with lemons as I think it will be equally as good. -Sara in FL (Nancy's Kitchen)
1/2 cup sugar
3 Tablespoons sweetened condensed milk
3 cups water
Wash limes thoroughly.
Cut off the ends and slice into eight wedges.
Place limes in a blender with the sugar, sweetened condensed milk, water, and ice.
Blend in an electric blender, pulsing 5 times.
Strain through a fine mesh strainer to remove rinds.
Serve over ice.
It appears to me that this recipe came, word for word, from: http://www.coffeebreakwithlizandkate.com/kates-escapades-refreshing-brazilian-lemonade/
