1 pound ground beef, I use 93% lean
1 cup sliced celery
1 cup chopped onion
1 (4-ounce) can mushrooms, drained
1 (14.5-ounce) can bean sprouts, drained
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup uncooked rice
1 1/2 cups water
1 (10.5-ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
1 (10.5-ounce) can cream of chicken soup
salt and pepper to taste, I usually omit the salt
2 1/2 cups crunchy chow mein noodles
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Brown ground beef in fry pan and add onion and celery while browning the meat.
Add rest of ingredients except for crunchy chow mein noodles to a casserole.
Add browned ground beef and combine.
Now top with crunchy chow mein noodles on top.
Bake in preheated oven for 1 1/2 hours or until all edges are good and bubbly and vegetables are tender.
