4 ounces elbow macaroni
1 pound ground beef
1 clove garlic, minced
1 medium onion,, chopped
1 can condensed onion soup or beef broth/bouillon
3/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 teaspoon pepper
1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 cup bread crumbs (approximately)
3 Tablespoons butter, melted
While macaroni is cooking, brown beef with garlic and onion in pan, stirring with fork to break up meat.
Add soup, macaroni, salt and pepper and mix well.
Pour into 1 1/2 quart casserole or shallow baking dish.
Sprinkle with cheese.
Mix crumbs with melted butter and sprinkle on top.
Bake at 350ºF for 15 minutes.
