At the cooking demo, he used homemade horseradish in the eggs which he made with a cheesecloth.
But we did not get a recipe with measurements.
He was what I call a dump and stir cook. I have two friends who cook like this without recipes.
I always have my recipe and then I double check to make sure I did not leave out a step or set the wrong temperature or something.
I guess if I had been raised with the dump and stir cook method, I could do it. But it amazes me to watch them cook. Forget asking for the recipe.
The friend I just visited did not even have measuring spoons. She told me to just get a regular spoon and estimate a 1/4 teaspoon. The food I cooked tasted okay but I'll never know if I had 1/4 or 1/8 or 3/8 of salt in the soup.
So I don't have a recipe to share but it was delicious.
