Fuzzball and I only live a couple of hours from each other. Our part of the country has been experiencing what they say is the coldest temps for these dates in several decades. Yesterday morning, the windchill factor here was -44! That's 44 degrees BELOW ZERO! We received an alert from the gas and electric companies on our phone last night asking up to lower our thermostats to 65 degrees! Our poor furnace could barely keep the house warm set at 80 degrees, so we're feeling pretty chilly today with the thermostat set back to 70! (It's still below zero outside; so, I guess if we want to feel warm, we can just step out for a minute or two and then come back it and it will probably feel warm as toast)!
