broth in a box because when comparing price, I found it was so much more expensive than the canned. However, once I started using it, I decided it is a nice convenience worth paying a little more. If you don't need a full can - or if you need more than a can, you don't have to open a can and store the rest. I buy low sodium when available and once the boxes became available, I don't use the bouillon cubes or granules at all anymore.
I made Beef Burgundy a month or so ago just for us for dinner. I froze what was left and will take it to my son's house the next time we are there and I need to prepare a meal.
