Bacon Wrapped Shrimp!!! Many years ago when I went into the seafood market and asked for ideas for

a shrimp appetizer, the man behind the counter told me to try this:

Clean and devein large or jumbo shrimp. Butterfly them up the back, being careful not to cut apart.
Stuff with as much horseradishas you can get into them. I use Gold's from the jar.
Close and wrap 1/2 slice of bacon around each shrimp and close them and secure with toothpicks.
Broil for a minute or two, then turn over and broil on the other side until done.

Note: I sometimes find the shrimp looks done, but the bacon does not. So sometimes if I think of it in advance, I precook the bacon SLIGHTLY so that it is still easy to wrap around the shrimp and then proceed with broiling on both sides.

This is probably my very favorite appetizer. Easy to make, but time consuming with preparing the shrimp to stuff.

Buffalo Wing Pizza?
