way to do it. If you are a member of Sam's Clubs, B.J.'s or Costco, you can probably buy them in bulk in the frozen food section. I can also get 2- 3 pound bags in ShopRite or other grocery stores, or fresh in their seafood section. In all the places here, you can buy them peeled and deveined. (Even when they are deveined, I usually still have to scrap a little more of the black vein off the shrimp.) I ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS remove the tail shell, although almost every restaurant here does not do it for shrimp cocktail or even cooked in hot shrimp dishes like shrimp scampi or shrimp parmigiana.
