Hmmm, except for the prep--peeling and de-veining (which some people-and restaurants-don't even bother to do). It only takes about 3 minutes for shrimp to cook.
I have some rather keen shrimp recipes when/if you get interested. And they are all categorized as appetizers, but I can make a meal out of them. Some are posted here, such as Cilantro-Lime Shrimp, Teriyaki Grilled Shrimp, Dill Shrimp, and Shrimp with Spicy Creole Sauce. All are just great (IMO), but the last one is my very favorite.
