as I'm cutting out all grains and sugars for the time being. When I started this a couple of weeks ago, I was just aiming to cut wheat, as I think it bloats me and makes my stomach uncomfortable. But I quickly decided I'd just cut out all grains (and any other carbs besides what's in vegetables) to see if I could drop a few pounds. I've lost two pounds, maybe water, but that's okay. I'd like to lose about 8-10 more pounds if possible. At least I'm not suffering with hunger. Sort of Keto, but I don't really keep up with macros or anything--I just eat real food with real fat like avocados, butter, eggs, nuts, tuna and fish, etc (and of course, real vegetables which don't really have much fat). The crackers really come in handy with the tuna and sardines.
When you stop eating processed foods, you really notice how much of them you've been eating, even if you thought you didn't. Crackers, Fritos, chips, a little pizza or a sandwich now and then, it all adds up. Carbs are really sneaky!
