Re: I have also kept it out when I have a stick of it.

I really dislike having hard butter to put on a sandwich or even a piece of toasted bread. We are suppose to stick with Smart Balance, but I do try to bring that out as soon as I know we will need it. Who wants hard/cold butter on a baked potato??? Not me!

I saw something on fb about things that don't need to be kept in the fridge and most of them are in my cupboard! I have a hard time with tomatoes if I am not using them right away. "They" say to keep them on the counter. Guess I just need to use them up faster. Of course they would go faster if I could just pick them out of our garden, but that won't happen except for the cherry tomatoes we are trying to grow.

Hope every is getting to have some summer. The HEAT is suppose to be coming in today.

butter does not need to be refrigerated for safety purposes *LINK*
Yeah, if we left it out, it would be drinkable. *NM*

I have left butter out my whole life, as did my mother and my grandmother. I like it to be soft
