Well, I bought one. I'm pretty sure their claims are wildly

exaggerated, and I'm not looking forward to the regular maintenance, but the water tastes good. And if the filters don't break loose from their bases, they won't need changing for several thousand gallons (or so they say...).

I don't really think water filters in general do everything they say they do. The only way to know is to get the filtered water tested, and I'm probably not going to do that. I'm just tired of lugging bottled water around and then recycling the plastic.

Good plan
My daughter and her husband who are very health-conscious have had and use a Berkey water
It's a nice system, but I wouldn't trust it on questionable
