Jill, my first project was an ugly sweater for the party. I had an inspiration picture of a Christmas tree with cats. My grandkids decided to help me and we got 2 cats and an angel cat made in 3-D art from felt, then appliqued onto a red shirt (I'm too hot natured to tolerate a sweater.)
The 2nd item is a solid red shirt with a flounce around the vee neckline, to wear to Christmas gatherings. I've been wanting to make one for 2 or 3 years but always wait too late. This time I started in time, but had to alter the pattern and the pieces aren't fitting together very well. :tears
Some pillowcases for the grandkids are somewhere in the not-too-distant future.
