ago. I baked a few and have several packages of dough chilling and yet to bake. We were at our son's in NJ for a few days and that set me back. I started some Christmas shopping for the MI granddaughters ( we MIGHT go out for Christmas), and for the needy family my daughter and we are buying gifts for this year. Today I made a baked brie wheel with a twist. I covered the cheese with bacon jam, then sprinkled sugared bacon pieces and chopped walnuts on top before I wrapped it in puff pastry. I also made copycat P. F. Chang's lettuce wraps. Both were an absolute hit at the party we attended today. Several of the people had never tasted lettuce wraps and were pleasantly surprised. Tomorrow I have to deal with phone calls to doctors, and hopefully I will get to bake some of the cookies I started last week.
