I'm pretty much staying in, which isn't anything new.

I'm a good candidate for isolation, since I stay in most of the time anyway. To illuminate the point, my car is a 2004 model and just hit 39,000 miles a couple of weeks ago. But my DH is a goer. I think it will take martial law to get him to stay at home.

So, the last few months I've concentrated on lacto-fermenting foods. Besides that, I managed to grow a SCOBY which took about a month, but I think it's grown enough to start making batches of kombucha tea. And in the next few weeks, I'm thinking of ordering kefir grains to make milk kefir. Kombucha and kefir are expensive in the grocery store, so they will be much cheaper to make at home. And besides, I like learning new things, and it gives me something to do. I also weighed out my oils to make a batch of soap, so that will be something I'll do this next week.

Today, I've been steaming some spots out of the carpet in the living room.
